Jumping for Joy - Original

Although I had a lot of fun making this photo, it needed some help. First, I corrected the color and slightly cropped the photo. The Rubber Stamp tool in Photoshop was then employed to remove a distracting hose in the background.

The photo still needed a bit more depth and meaning. So I took a picture of a real estate sign, selected it, copied it, and pasted it into the original image.

It was months before someone pointed out that the shadow of the sign (that I had artificially created) was backwards. To fix this, I went into my source Photoshop document where I has luckily saved the shadow as its own layer. Rotating it was as simple as choosing the "Transform Layer" function.

So after a few bumps in the road, viola, we have a usable image that tells something of a story. #1936

Uhh, not to be picky, but the shadow is still backward. Unless we have two suns.

Why are the two shadows on the walkway pointing at each other? I believe the sign shadow would look better on the grass, non? #438584

I believe the second shadow that you are talking about is the shadow of the man jumping. Look close at the shadow inside the cove of the door, you can see where the natural light is comming from (from left to right of the pic). #1135772
