---------
On Thanksgiving Day, there were periods when the sun shone through the thick cloud cover over the bog at Silver Lake Park, Bristol, PA.
---------
This is a composite that re-enacts scenes that played out several times that morning, as I observed the bog in late Autumn.
-----
Shot RAW format, aperture priority.
ISO:125, F5.0, 1/500s, 24mm
-----
Used a touch of TOPAZ Simiplicity Buzz, to bring out the golden hues and "mild details" to dramatize the sky, and to emphasize the details on the boardwalk, used CS4 Vanishing Point filter to extend the boards to the left slightly, sharpened, dodged, and burned. Then added the geese. Original is shown in the Comments area.

wow..this is beautifully done. I love it. #8250014Toni A. Martin February 28, 2010
This is very good. Great exposure. The one thing that I would do is take out the duck's head on right edge. The eye goes straight to it, pulling it out of the image. #8422168Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
