FANTASTIC natural colors and details in this lovely arrangement of beautiful jewel decorated bottles and mirror (it is a mirror in the middle, isn't it?). I bet those bottles contain the most wonderful scents!
This really is beautiful, SSSLala. And so many details to look at. #8137789

This is one of my dressing tables, ladies. I have many favorite broaches and perfumes and hair pins, etc!

Yes SSSKiki! That is an antique mirror there. In the old days it would have gone in a ladies little hand bag. I have always wondered who it belonged to...and what her life was like! :)

Thank You For Enjoying This Part Of It!

WOW!! So all of this is antique? They must have cost a fortune!! And yes, wouldn't it be fantastic if bottles and mirrors could talk? #8137837

This is such a wonderful collection Laura!!! Beautiful!!! #8137902

Laura E. Swan level-classic November 17, 2009

Not EVERY one, SSSKiki, is antique but I have lots. I have spray misters that are so old the rubber mister bulbs are cracking, etc. VERY VERY old! :)

Part of me has always felt I belonged in a different place in time...I am very attracted to this type of thing and all things beautiful.

Thanks Renee!!! :) How fun that you like it! :)

WHEEEEWWW!!!
Finally got back on the site, Pom!! I've been trying for a half-hour to comment on your marvelous collection of bejewelled bottles and mirror, and all things sparkly-purty and lacey-purty here.
And you say this is just "one of (your) dressing tables"? I hope you've left all your Victorian lovelies in your will to someone who deserves them... and would cherish them... and would make sure they were kept clean and dust-free and shiny and...like that... :-)
But then, you probably had them in your other life, around 1900 --- and will have them all again in the next go-round.
Still, a gal can dream, can't she?
By the way, wonderful display!

Night night all and so glad you like my bejewels.

See you tomorrow! :D

Thank you friends. It's my pleasure to share part of my world with you. My mother, when I was a child, told me of our heritage and I am in fact related to Mary Queen Of Scots...(Who was actually English)...So perhaps this is why I feel so connected to this sort of thing?

One never knows, does one?

I appreciate what each of you have said! It's always fun to hear what you have to say!!!

That one bottle pf perfume in the back there (The dark golden one), is my favorite. I wear it almost daily. It's one of the first perfumes Revlon ever came out with called, Ciara. It's heaven and I feel like it was made especially for me. :)

See you all soon if I didn't visit you last night.
