Description

Shot of the San Diego Convention from my 19th floor hotel room in the Marriott Hotel at about 6:30 am.

It is an HDR image using 7 individual shots, processed in Photomatix Pro and tone mapped using tone enhancer. Finished up in CS4 to sharpen and bring out details.

Thank you for the comments. Yes, I have been shooting a lot more in HDR. A majority of the newer shots in my gallery are HDR. It's easy if you bracket and shoot really fast. I almost always bring a tripod or monopod, so that helps a lot also. BTW, I like your gallery. You either travel a lot or just finished a big time vacation. Great shots either way. #8136717

Great capture. Love the sun rays spreading out over the city. HDR is great to pop the colors out. Photomatix details enhancer or tone compressor used for tone mapping? Randy #8137316
