Ellen- In all my years of being by the lake and seeing these milkweed did I ever stop to see the beauty of them until I started seeing pictures of them on BP here. They do offer an array of fasinating beauty in the textures of the pod, then the fluffy white and I especially love the seed hanging on. Beautiful lighting, love the darker background and its patterns. Beautiful sharp details of its features.
