Thank you kindly Janet. I don't usually 'do' flowers but standing in a door-way sheltering from the rain while on vacation in Cornwall in July I was looking across the narrow alleyway to another doorway with these beautiful flowers. I then realised that it didn't matter that it was raining, beauty is just there for the finding. The day suddenly became brighter.

And thank you too Lindley. Yes,there are some interesting subjects tucked away in odd corners if only we take the trouble to think beyond the usual. Immediately next door to this house was a unique gatepost with a goulish figure on top. Take a look in my gallery at
