Solitude's Silence

Uploaded: October 01, 2009

Description

There was a strange beauty connected with this scene as I stood there in the forest watching the heavy fog fill the deep canyon behind the huge rock while it made its way to where I was standing. The silence was a bit eerie, however even the smallest noise would have ruined the solitude.

“There are times when silence has the loudest voice” ~ Leroy Brownlow

Once again, I am way behind and missing way too many of your photos! This one is just BREATH-TAKING, Melissa! The sense of mystery here - the way you caught the strange and wild beauty of the wilderness which can also be so whimsical - MAGNIFICENT! A Fave for Sure! #8023084
