Gosh, what a beautiful staircase on which to make an entrance. All those lovely flowers. Beautifully captured Laura and nice PS work. #1185928Melissa G. Meiselman September 28, 2009
Wonderful shot of this gorgeous interior...just beautiful and your shot is beautifully taken with a great sense of composition, terrific warm light...also from the sky light and vibrant color, Laura!! Looks like a wonderful place to hear a string quartet in addition to piano music!! #7992437Laura E. Swan September 28, 2009
Hi Ladies. This wedding place was so so lovely. If I had been the bride I'd have been a l-i-t-t-l-e nervous of all of those (grand) stairs! HA! She came down them like a queen!
Melissa, you are so right. Had strings been there WOW. We'd have shot right into heaven.
Have you ever heard of the famous Debroah Nyack? The harpist from Canada? OH! I have heard her live and have one of her CD's...She takes a persons soul and stirs it up into the warm winds!

Heeeeey! You had me going for a second, there! (Well? Ya never know!) This is a FABULOUS capture, Laura! Also, love your description of that harpist - now I'm going to have to find her music. Really, this is just superb! (I too would have been a little leery of those stairs - and knowing me, probably would have tumbled down. Oh dear!!) #7992537Maria Warren September 28, 2009
this is a beautiful place :) great photo :) #7992560Kirsten Kiki Kjaer September 28, 2009
Aren't you glad it isn't your home, SSSL? Imagine all the cleaning and polishing of the floor and stairs? HEHE!!Laura E. Swan September 28, 2009
Julianne, I have "Unforgettable"...It can be found on the second link I added there. (Under "Harp Angel CD's area..Lower left side of her home page). I can vouch for that one. It's beautiful.*
Thank you Dominick! :) !!!

You passed right by this spot last year Ysa! It is right near the 1988 Olympic Sky Jump on HWY 1 West to Banff!!! :) You will have to come back here one day and see all that you missed!!!

HA! NADYA! Silly dilly. Actually we almost bought a home like this once in Texas. It was beautiful and the area was so inexpensive because of the oil crash in the late 80's...but alas...Texas wasn't in the cards for us...Canada was! :)

Thank you Little Sis, Maria. You'd have had a blast shooting this wedding!!! (((HUGS)))

Yes, SSSKiki..I am SO glad it is not my home...I like my treehouse just fine. It's self cleaning and there is lots of fresh air...This place would be a ROYAL DRAG! HA!
Seriously however, YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE LADIES ROOM! IT WAS JUST MY IDEA OF A PERFECT SETTING!
Maybe that is what I will post tonight if I stick around. :)
Thanks all! Good to hear from you!

great tones & details! #7992862Michelle Alton September 29, 2009
Well, it wouldn't be very cozy for a private abode. But as a wedding hall, it is magnificent...and you've captured the warm glow (or created it) with great skill. #7993086Jack R. Perry September 29, 2009
Just a little log cabin for me and the Doc says in the desert. #7994155ROLAN NARMAN September 29, 2009
