Through the Looking Wall

Uploaded: September 27, 2009

Description

This shot was snapped at the Fayette Historical State Park in Michigan. It was fun looking at the scenery through the glassless windows, with the bricks a darker contrast.

The stone cliff beyond the right window actually exists. The bricks hide the edge of it. I believe it was mined for limestone.

Terrific framing of the scenes beyond with great textures on the brick wall, Nancy!!! One question, Nancy. The scene on the right does not seem to match the other two. Did you add this in post processing? #7990518

Thank you, Melissa. :D That sandstone cliff is actually there. That grabbed my attention too. I will post a photo of it in my gallery next so you can see the harbor layout.
