Beautiful photo of this fellow, Valarie! That golden autumn light (and of course the goldenrod!) is just exquisite. I also like the spider! Its patterns are fantastic. In all honesty, there are a few I don't like to see - - especially in the house. The Brown Recluse, the Black Widow, big Tarantulas... but they are all part of Nature's complex and amazing dance of life. Plus they eat a LOT of flies!Well done - perfect capture! #7983228

Oh, yeah! One of my favorite apiders, along with the green lynx, tarantula and crab, etc., etc.! I remember during my foolish youth how I'd run into their strong webs strung between corn rows. Now THAT will get your attention! Spectacular capture and title, Valarie! #7984113Val Feldman September 25, 2009
