Green Metallic Bee on Wildflower

Uploaded: September 23, 2009

Description

I was out shooting wildflower macros when this green metallic bee landed on a nearby flower. Until about 2 years ago--when I started taking a lot more flower macros--I never even noticed green metallic bees; because they are so small. Photo taken at Crown Hill Park in Lakewood, CO; some artistic fx layering used.

Thank you, Tess! I was lucky to get 2 of my favorite late-summer subjects in one shot. #7979843
