Thanks Tess, Carolyn, Natasa and Mary Beth for your nice comments.As "Dune Parks" go..., Great Sand Dunes NP in Colorado holds its own among other regional fav's like White Sands National Monument in New Mexico and Coral and Pink Sand Dunes SP in Utah.
All three have similar terrain but with different colored sand.
Shooting early or late in the day is always best for scenics, when the deep shadows and bright highlights create dramatic contrasts.
Black and white really accentuates the textures of those wind-driven dunes.
