Barn Owl flying by

The soft late summer light and the catch light in the eye, the background with the soft colors of the natural environment and the beautiful bird makes this image special to me. I was astonished by the detail of the bird and could almost see him passing by, just by looking at the image. I could have cropped the image a little but I liked the surroundings of the bird, so I did not crop at all.
Barn Owls are very silent flyers, but it is just a feeling I get from this image.
