Wonderful photo Rita. I really like the effect you did on this. Is the bottom of the vase cut off . . . or is that the bottom? #1184364

LOVE LOVE LOVE this! The color, the comp, the effect - my only crtique is that the vase looks like it is tilting just a hair to the right. Great image Rita! #7980957

Great comp, texture and lighting Rita..is this a posterizaition filter? This type of filter is usually hit or miss for me and this one is definitely a hit... #7981350

thanks everyone yes Tony it was the posterization filter and I am with you on the hit or miss. I bought a little light box at the first of the summer, I have never been into still life pictures to much. Debbra I had this on a tripod and it was reading level but it does look like it might have a tilt. but this is what you get. I am still learning about the bottom of the vase if I pull back some then I had foregound that I didn't like. I'll take any suggestion for future work I can get. I used scrapebook paper again for the back ground. I have attached the original picture to see what you think of it also. thanks again for all of you comments it makes me want to try it again. I find still life pictures alot harder because you have to be creative. #7982375

Rita, I like the artistic affect as well. I've been toying with the idea of getting a light box. What did you use for external illumination? Just curious. #8957284

thanks Dan I used window lighting only. #8957606
