This was the 4th Monarch that hatched yesterday.
This one hatched at 2:50pm. It is truly a miracle watching these caterpillars spin cocoons and then emerge as a glorious Monarch.
While releasing this one I found another caterpillar on the milkweed. So our monarch adventure awaits the emergence of 2 more of these beauties.
Entered into the monthly theme of "response" because the monarch is responding to the sun and food source while gaining his strength to fly off.
Taken with my 180L lens handheld.
I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday! As always your comments are welcomed and appreciated ;)
