SUSPECT BLOOM

Uploaded: September 12, 2009

Description

It kinda looks like a thistle but I've never seen one quite like it before. It caught my eye yesterday when I saw it on display in the window of a Manhattan florist. It looks like the kind of plant you would find growing in the garden of a witch or bordering an enchanted forest.

Sure does look spooky, Joe. Beautiful, though, and beautifully captured. #1179558

Joe, It might be Leavenworth Erengo that grows wild in Kansas in dry places. There is nothing about this plant that would make you suspect it was not a thistle, but it isn't. #7948835
