Description

This is an enlargement to show the way they start the fire. This truck has a diesel tank for fuel and a burner on the back bumper. The driver can turn the fuel supply on and off to start the fire. If you look close at the back bumper, you can see the fire.

There is a whole crew made up of local farmers that do the field burning, so when it's a burn day they will be madly rushing around from field to field to get the job done in the short time allotted to them. #1174863

WOW, Denny! What a terrific scene. I didn't realize they'd let you burn in August. The burning restrictions are very tight here in the Rogue Valley. I believe we have until April or early May. The smoke gets trapped in the valley and can cause some real problems for people. Anyhow...there I go again...back to your image...it's FANTASTIC!! Deb #7907227
