Garden picket fence details

Uploaded: May 06, 2005

Description

The shapes, texture and color contrast of this tiny city garden picket fence scene captured my attention right away.. For maximum detail and background blur, I used a Canon 300ISL lens at a very close focal length at ground level.

I love the starkness of this graphic color study. Not so fond of the actual color combination though. Still that's a personal preference so it's on to the next round. #1486519

Thanks judges for the comments on some of my images today.
I think that your remarks will help us all look at our work a little bit closer and hopefully we will think twice before needlessly uploading into the contest.
THis was a great idea! #1487092
