GONE FISHIN'

Uploaded: July 30, 2009

Description

Utah's House of Representatives was not in session when we visited but we were able to see this gorgeous room. There is a lot of symbolism in the ornate decorations in this room. For example, the beehives along the grillwork represents the industriousness of Utah's people and the crosses stand for the harvesting of crops and their abundance. I was struck by the wonderful, lush colors in the architectural design of the entire building.
