Thanks, Lori. No, I didn't try levels as I usually don't adjust in levels. This was shot in RAW and I used the Elements 3 RAW converter to brighten the highlights, while leaving the exposure as it was shot. I do all my adjustments in the RAW converter and only adjust a little contrast after converting. If I adjust a RAW conversion in levels, the colors go way off. On my computers, his face looks fine, although it is shaded by the hood and his hand is a little brighter from the fill flash. #1303322

It's probably my monitor! I know I'm in need of a different one and often wonder how my photos look when I adjust them! It's an absolutely adorable picture! #1303515

Lori, when I adjust my photos, I always wonder if they'll look good on someone else's monitor, too. But, I printed this shot and it look really good, so I figured I had it right! A friend of mine edited some wedding photos and when she posted them, they were extremely dark. When we mentioned it, she said she edited them on her laptop so she made them darker because of that screen. But, they were not underexposed. #1303651

Pat, isn't this monitor question a can of worms though? On my monitor, this looks just great. And I love the photo--not your standard happy kid here, but a very worried one, about something. I tend to not adjust my monitor because I too am able to print pretty well, even with some minor corrections. But it's hard to know. #3666165
