Time Square Bustle II

Uploaded: July 07, 2009

Description

I decided to go down to Time Square and capture the moving traffic and bright lights. For this assignment I shot with a tripod, used a wide angle lens and shot w/Bulb setting & remote. I also tried other lenses but quickly noticed that the wide angle lens was the best approach for this assignment.

There was a lot of activity on these streets. A lot of cars and pedestrians moving up and down. I settled on a location & took a few test shots to figure out how long I should hold the shutter open for. Once I had my number of seconds down I took multiple shots. This being one of the images.

I know this image is very busy but that is what I like about it.
