Description

This is the QUEEN butterfly caterpillar. The QUEEN looks similar to the monarch. I love the red dots on this one. They also eat milkweed just like the monarch caterpillars.

I love how complex nature is,it amazes me how this caterpillar protects it self by looking like a Monarch also the fact that front and back looks almost the same to help them to protect against predators..So it is hard to differenciate the head from tail...If you look at the 6 front legs,those are the 6 legs the butterfly is going to have as an adult..
Excellent detail,composition and colors,very well captured and find,Kathy...
