Hirtshals Lighthouse
Uploaded: June 16, 2009
The lighthouse Hirtshals Fyr (Denmark) was built in 1862. It is 35 metres high and stands on a 27 metre high mound.
The lighthouse is still in operation and is, even today, an impressive structure.

Jan, I really love lighthouses, and this one is a beauty - as you say, quite impressive!! You captured this image on a beautiful day, too - the lighting and sky are gorgeous, and the colours, details, textures and composition all are exceptional!! :o) #1142001Nadya Johnson June 16, 2009
