Not rain again
Uploaded: May 20, 2009
Yes, guess who is complaining again about the weather!! He was knocking on the rail for something to eat, to wet to go out looking for himself. Lens aperture F/2.8, shutter speed 1/60sec, focal length 6mm, ISO 80.

Great expression on this bird! I have a lot of expressions that I've captured, generally when birds are coming into a feeder and someone else is already there. What kind of bird is this --that you have captured and entitled, "Not rain again." #7776331

Is this one of those Laughing Kookaburras? It isn't laughing now! (I still laugh, however, when I see this!) #7797283Chris Ebben October 03, 2009
Yes, it's a laughing Kookaburra!! You should see the poor things today, they are soaked & only last week they were panting in the heat. Our weather is changing so much, the poor things don't know what's happening, I'll have to get another shot to show you.
