wow how pretty...looks just like a painting...how did you do this? #7482867

Very painterly. Also looks like some type of a 'glass' filter? Your colors and tones are beautifully rendered.

I'm trying to figure out if the 'missing' petal adds or detracts from the image. But the fact that it makes me stop and wonder, is a sign that the image is holding my attention, always a good sign. Okay, I like it this way because it makes me think about it. #7483438

Just go to alienskin.com and sign up for a free 30-day trial of SnapArt 2. It's very cool. #7483608

A gorgeous painting on a textured wall. My first impression and it holds up well as you look more closely.

Simply a great job Debbie. I love the effect.

I think you and Dale need to write a tutorial for the folks like me that can't produce anything but mush with effects. #7483645

You've convinced me...this is another wonderful image. Love the soft, yet vivid colors. When I get a minute I'm going for the free trial. Just have to find a minute. #7483651

Thank you, Christy and Jeannine. It is a fun filter to use. It helps that I can get an educator's discount on most software, but added up, they are still pricey!

And as for tutorials, it would be install SnapArt2, apply and voila! There are a tenof choices as to types of effects and a ton of choices within each effect so you do have to experiment to get what your mind sees. #7484106

O yeah...lovin the filter girl! It rocks and so does your use of it! I like the different colors in the background. I do howevery wish the background on the right was the same as the left in terms of more colors. That large white area is a bit bothersome for me! :~) #7484358
