Very nice still life, Carol... wonderful textures, though I would have rather seen them displayed on something other than a doily? (Is that okay to say?) The colors you have brought out in that big shell in the back are incredible!! #1122804Carol Engstrom May 03, 2009
Yes, it is OK to say that. lol This is another picture I took for the FFFP club. The theme that month was to use only natural light. I was running out of daylight and did not have a lot of time to set up. I did try a couple of other backgrounds that I thought would look better, but the white really made the colors in the shell stand out -- so I went with that. I have been thinking about redoing this and spending some more time on it. It love the way the light reflects off the large shell. #7481434Stefania Barbier May 04, 2009
beautiful close up Carol! #7481683Laura E. Swan May 04, 2009
So beautifully arranged Carol. This is very pretty to look at!!!If you are looking for the best BG, take it to the sand box at your local park! No one has to know it's not the beach! :) You can use other props, too, for fun. Drift wood or an umbrella from a little tropical drink. :)
