Elida, this really caught my eye & has great meaning to me.

My father and his brother came to Canada from England, one in 1926, the other 1927... leaving two sisters in England. The boys were both placed on farms in different parts of the country and didn't re-unite for over 40 years.

Many children never found their families again which is so sad. I'm glad to say my father's family had a happy ending... all siblings met in the 70s and all their families visit and keep in touch to this day.

Beautifully down and congratulations on your well deserved EFP!!! #7357552

Elida, I love this photo. I have noticed here on BP, most people take photos of beautiful subjects. I think it is much more difficult to take a beautiful and emotional photo of a subject that is in itself not beautiful or is sad in some way. Very moving and well done! #7361291

For the Photogoup Classic Movie Title Theme

Orphans of the Storm.
Silence movie from 1921.
Two sisters are lost in the French Revolution, with a hold-the-guillotine finale. Directed by D.W. Griffith.

Inspired for all those sad and unfortunately stories of orphan children that after losing everything have to suffer in bad foster homes.
You are always in my heart and my prayers.
