Thank you Kerry, Shelly, Arlene, Ann, Susan, and Michelle. I appreciate your comments. It really is an exciting time for me. I plan and plot my travels all year for the days when these beautiful birds enter their mating period. I cease to lose my enthusiasm. The trip requires that we cover more than 2500 miles by auto. All within Florida. Then the process of editing 1000 images begins.

Thank you Abdulrahman and Ed. Being that we share a common interest in wading birds in the wild Ed your comments take on special meaning to me. I love the light that you work with in eastern Louisiana. Your photograph entitled "Prehistoric" is exceptional. You've taken me to a place few have seen. #7309813

Your photos are outstanding! I love the way you made a series with the blue herons, telling a story with your pictures. It's the first gallery, I've seen, where someone puts so much effort in describing the pictures. It's much appreciated. The Great white egrets are GORGEOUS! All your shots are great. You definitely have a way with a camera. #8447653
