Going fishing, Bob? It always amazed me how intricate these are. Great shot! #1215988

Thanks, Dan and Janet, for your comments. It's a known fact that most fishing lures are designed to catch fishermen, more than fish. Spinnerbaits like these are among the most colorful and picturesque tools in a bass fisherperson's arsenal.
These three "caught me" - or at least caught my eye - as I was shopping for a few new lures for the spring season.

Hi Bob;

I'm new to the organization and thought that I could make a start by complimenting you on the great shot! I love the composition, the background color and the choice of such an "unlikely" subject.(.. one of the secrets of good photography I think.) Your choice of equipment interested me as well. By coincidence, I use a Nikkormat Ft3 with a 35mm lens! It's a great and versatile combination. ~ Paul Marshall #1241773

Thanks Paul for your nice comments.

I wouldn't go anywhere without my old manual-focus Nikkors.

(I just noticed that this image was selected for Bp's PhotoFlash Newsletter
in April. A pleasant surprise for what was indeed,...such an unlikely subject.) :)
