Another great portrait of Oscar, this time with yellow eyes instead of green, taken with wonderful natural lighting, fine detail and great composition, Debbra!!! #1094327

Debbra, you nailed the DOF on the eyes this time. Well done. He is so intent and full of it, and that shows with this shot. Well done.

Just for the curiosity of it, do you mind trying a suggestion? Try cropping the bottom just enough to eliminate the box and from the left the same distance. Then apply the high pass filter at a setting of about 1.2 with a soft light blend. See if you like it. #7254922

Considering my Teagan, who faints whenever I come near her with a camera, you have done a remarkable job with this series!!!! The eyes are awesome! #7255439

Thank you all for your comments! I appreciate them!

Joan, I also have a black cat. I have NEVER been able to get a good shot of him as a whole or especially his eyes! lol

Dale,I found the high pass filter, but need to know how to do the soft light blend... I just sent you a message asking about it :) THANK YOU! #7256061

Gotta love cats eyes! But after having seen the other shots of him this isn't my favorite. I don't want him to be sad!!!! :~) Nice work on an EP worthy image! #7326696
