Beverley, it is not a PEDAL but you haev something there about the non-slip surface!!! So, you are not totally cold- tedpid ,maybe!!! So if you are not totally cold you have to keep trying,lol!!!

Nancy, you remind me of me.......If I am doing a crosswrd or some "mind gane" I cannot rest till I solve it,lol!It is not a pedal or footrest or rod iron of any kind but but you are tepid also!!!Forget about the redals & footrests but you are in the vicinity! I GUESS ITS TIME FOR ME TO GUESS THE ANSWER.... WHEN I WAS A WEE LAD BACK ON THE FARM WE HAD LOTS OF THESE HANGING AROUND THEY WERE EXTREMELY USEFUL AT BIRTHING TIME IN THE SPRING WHEN THE EWES WOULD DROP THE LAMBS... I DO RECALL ONE COLD SNOWY MARCH WHEN A YOUNG RAM WANDERED OUT OF THE SHEEP SHED SHORTLY AFTER BEING BORN... I WAS AWOKEN BY THE BLEATING OF THE MOTHER WHO HAD SEPARATION ANXIOITY I FOUND THE LAMB SHIVERING AND COVERED WITH FRESH SNOW CURLED UP IN A HEAP AGAINST THE HOUSE FOUNDATION...I CARRIED HIM IN NEXT TO THE KITCHEN WOOD STOVE TO WARM HIM ...I RECALL THINKING THIS GUY WILL NEVER SURVIVE THE MORTALITY RATE OF THE EARLY LAMBS ALWAYS SEEMED TO BE STACKED AGAINST THEM....I WARMED SOME FRESH COWS MILK WITH LOTS OF CREAM THAT STILL FLOATED TO THE TOP OF THE BOTTLES BACK THEN...AND BOTTLE FED THIS SHIVERING WHITE BALL OF WOOL...I RECALL THINKING HOW STRONG HE WAS FOR BEING OUT ALONE IN THAT MARCH SNOW STORM...HE WAS FED AND RETURNED TO HIS DISTRAUGHT MOTHER AND GREW TO BE THE BIGGEST AND TOUGHEST RAM WE EVER OWNED I FORGET WHAT WAS I TELLING THIS STORY FOR????...HMMMMMM I'M SURE IT WILL COME TO ME I COULD USE ANTHER CUP OF COFFEE WISH I HAD SOME OF THAT TOP CREAM!!!!! #7249980
