This is a really cute shot, Tony. Such a serious little man here! Great light on this! #1094210

Thanks Christie, guess what..its only window light..guess what else...I live at about the same lattitude as you so no more excuses about it being to dark in norhtern Illinois!! Try some window shots..you don't live in the land of the midnight sun for crying out loud! #7254016

LOL, Tony! It's pretty dark and depressing here this time of year with all the heavy cloud cover day in/day out. We did have sunshine yesterday and I got some shots - will post later (even if they stink so you and Dale can tell me what I'm doing wrong). So I guess you aren't going to give me any "latitude" with window light huh? Sorry, lame - but couldn't resist! Send your suggestions my way. #7254086

First of all Congrats on the EP for this very serious portrait....love the title for it. He looks so grown up here! :~)

Second....I live in PA and the winters here are dark and dreary too, but you don't have to have the sun out to get window shots. Actually the cloud cover on many days is wonderful (like a huge softbox). Now if I didn't live in a ranch style house in a valley! If I can get a window shot then I'm sure you can do it girl! :~) #7254233

I have read that many times about cloudy days Aimee, and that works for me outside..but it seems to work better for me on indoor window shots if it is sunny, it seems like I don't get enough ambient light through the windows on cloudy days..it was sunny out when this one was done. #7254311
