Description

Florida State Fair 2009, Tampa Florida
Under a shaded stall were three ponies tied to the merrygoround bars.
These ponies have to push the bar with their foreheads to give children rides.
This was during a rest period.
However, I did notice that there wasn't much work for them this day.
I was fascinated with the nose hair and mane having
such sunlight coming thru even under the building.

What a beautiful job of picking up the beauty of this animals nose and neck. You are right. The sun was in the perfect position!!! Beautiful details here!

Laura, Thank you for your comments, and a good cup of coffee does sound good...I was saddened also to find that they push the merrygoround bars with their forhead --- I went around and looked at all three ponies, and no ware, so maybe it doesn't hurt them. Liz seemed to think they were taken care of pretty good, and in good condition.. so that made me smile better. Liz used to raise horses. Catch you later 8o) #7200322
