Paired for Life
Uploaded: February 08, 2009
This is a pair of geese that swim our pond. They are very old and have been paired since they were babies. They certainly belong to each other. You never see them separated. We call the Hans & Gertrude. They actually belong to our neighbors, but since we put corn out they spend most of their time at our pond.

It's a beautiful image Kathy..Kathy L. Clark February 10, 2009
Thanks everybody for your kind words. No effects Howard, it is just as taken. Those geese made that effect. ;0) #7149214Bill Knaps February 10, 2009
Beautiful capture Kathy. You know at the movies when they would show a short film between movies if they showed Ducks or Geese they would say like humans they mate for life. I still beleive the old way, but very few humans do today. I stopped videoing weddings because half did not last and one I did the video for two weddings. For the third I told her no and I am not doing any more. Sad things Kathy. Bill #7149541Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
