Hunter's Eye

Description

I'm not sure that this is the right category to enter this in. This is my first experiment with selective color. I used PS, created a duplicate layer, which was then desaturated, and opened the eye to the layer below. I sharpened the eye, and lightly blurred the duplicate layer. Please critique.

I never know about that either! O.o You want to put it in Animals, cuz well, it's an animal, yet you used special effects. Somewhat confusing!

Anyhow, on to the pic. I love the composition of this shot. The selective colour really does this shot well. They eye in view is sharp and attracting, and the shadows lurking beside him/her give off the mystery that most cats are so good at! Well done. #226926

Thanks for the comments. The cat is a he, and his name is Furball. Furball is an older cat, almostt 12, but he dosen't look his age (must be all the sleep he gets). #1192484
