Those were the days....

Uploaded: January 28, 2009

Description

This was a junior college exercise in using layers in Photoshop. We were asked to create an image that represented our own personality using type layers. This simple image has 19 layers. I am sure I am not the only one who remembers the song that made #1 back in 1968. The chorus tells us that "Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance fore ever and
and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
for we were young and sure to
have our way."

And in '68 my hair was already thinning Terri! These past ten years have been the happiest of my life but I just wish they had started earlier.
Thank you so much for your very kind comment.

Thank you so much Maria. I did get an 'A' for it! School is so much more fun when one's life doesn't depend on it! Of course it didn't hurt none that some of the young folk in the class told me that they couldn't believe I was seventy........... #7141856

Thank you so very much Lisa and Pat you are both very kind.
The wonderful thing about being retired now is that I can do things at my own pace and thoroughly enjoy life. At this rate I shall have a Bachelors in graphic design by the time I am 90 lol!
Blessings to you both.

Many thanks Tony.
"...one day I might have a go at editing" Do I detect someone who is trying to steal my King of Procrastination crown? I firmly believe you should never put off till tomorrow, what you can put off till next week. lol. Pete #7277336
