Description

f/8.0, 4:40 pm, 1/500 sec, ISO 100, 24.0 mm - Sigma 12-24 Wide Zoom Bogus Basin Road, Idaho. About the middle of the cloud bank with heavy diffuse light from the sun hitting the clouds. It was still directional with just enough light on the tree to help it stand out from the fog.

I love the way you captured the light on the tree, helping it stand out from the cloud bank. The heavy diffused light adds to the beauty.

I realize photoshop work was frowned upon for the class, but if you either cropped the lone branch on the central top of the tree, or added another branch to fill in the gapping hole, I think the overall composition may be better. #1181576
