The Painter's View

Uploaded: March 13, 2005

Description

This is a photo of a very popular place for painter in the Botanical Gardens in Santa Barbara, CA. I started off with a Watercolor and after many other FX, I ended up here. The Watercolor is one of the Buzz Stacks. After that I lost track but I know there is angled strokes, a guassian blur and a canvas background in there somewhere. Lots and lots of burn/dodge and level/curves adjustments.

I like both; however, I am a filter/effect addict! So, I like the changed version the best! #1169931

Very nice! Question:

Have you (or anyone) ever tried to print something like this on an "art" type paper? (As opposed to printing on photo paper) If it could be printed on a heavily textured paper it would look wonderful - I think.

Thanks, Eric #1185920

Thanks so much Donna, Dennis, Nancy & Eric...was this ever a surpise :)

Donna..You are MY inspiration...I'm in awe of your work :)

Eric..I've not done much printing but hear that the "art" paper works really well. I'll have to try it sometime. #1187054
