1.4 Patterns

1.4 Patterns
Description: Repetitive patterns. Taken with a tripod. I chose an aperture of 5.6 hoping to get everything sharp but this is not the case. Can you tell my why, is the aperture wrong or can it be movement from the camera. I used my portrait lens because I wanted to get some detailed shots and this lens has a macro function. (Which I did not use for this shot) Also I find I use photoshop a lot to bring more color into the photo (not now though). What is the best way to achieve this in camera. Where should I have taken the meter reading? It was set on center weighted.
