Nice capture, Carol. Justin looks great. Love the new hair cut. I've always loved railroad track photos. Love the angle. They sure do grow up fast. My Justin would be 28 in Feb but he passed away almost 9 yrs ago. We need to make sure we treasure each day with our kids. They can be such a blessing. #7018863

Jef, Eric, Kay, Mary, Amy, Colleen, Hector, and James, thank you all so much for your kind comments! Justin did quite well for the hour or so I shot him, but it is me that was less than patient. He had one million questions about the railroad tracks, trains, etc, and I didn't know the answers! And I wasn't sure we would be allowed on the tracks and so when a service vehicle was riding down the rails surveying the track (I suppose that is what he was doing), we had to hide. I couldn't go up the big hill where Justin went to hide, so I had to hide behind a huge post that held up the road above. I had to move around it as the vehicle approached, hiding first on the right side, then behind it and lastly on the left side as he went by! LOL Later he came back through and I didn't have time to hide, so I talked to him. He said no train was coming through on that day (Sunday) and that it was ok for me to take photos.

Kay, I am so sorry for the loss of your precious son, and I know he had to be a fine young man. I know you have fond memories of him in your heart.

Mary, I don't think he minds the word "cute", as long as it is coming from 12-13 year old girls!

And James, he allowed me to take the photos, but I had to promise to pay him on payday plus he got out of doing his essay that I was having him write as punishment for not doing homework. All in all, I guess that is cheap for a model! :D

Reckon you got a bargain from your handsome model Carol. But he had to be pleased with that shot. Great title land great idea for the shot especially on that angle. It is one fantastic portrait. What a fun time you had - James must have been longing to burst out laughing while you were Moving around the post. #7055647
