Description

This is untouched and unusual. Have any of you ever seen a cone flower like this?
Everyone loves cone flowers, especially photographers. They are good subjects and they attract lots of other good subjects to them. They have been part of my gardens for many years but once, years ago, this particularly unusual bloom appeared. Three mutated flowers sprung from the same bud. I took this in my yard with my old 35mm rig. I always hoped to see another.

What a fascinating flower Joe.
I can imagine your delight and interest in finding such a flower in your garden.
Did you keep the cone head after the petals dropped off? #7015113

Thanks everyone for all the responses, comments and contributions on ATYPICAL.
I didn't keep the cone, Irene. I keep too much stuff as it is.
Siamese triplets, Barbara. That's a new one. #7025877
