Thank you all so much for you kind comments! Nepal is such an awe-inspiring place, I took nearly 2000 photos in the month that I was there and am still in the editing process. I will be posting more photos on my website and perhaps a couple more in the contest.

Wow, Michael - this is SUCH an awe-inspiring capture!! The details in the mountains contrast SO beautifully against the softness of the pastel sky colours, and your composition here is spot-on!! A really fabulous image...and I would love to visit Nepal one day, but my hubby, Phil (Phillip here in BP), and I might end up just having to be enthralled by the images presented by photographers like you who ARE fortunate enough to visit there!! :o) #7045408
