Cold Day in the Capital
Uploaded: January 02, 2009
This image of the Parliament Buildings in Victoria, BC was photographed on Christmas Eve 2008. You can see traces of snow on the roof, bottom of the domes or birdcages & more on the entrance steps but there was about 3 inches on the ground. Maybe first time ever for Canada to have snow coast to coast on Christmas Day.
I left this image a little dark to give you the feeling of how cold it was, temp around freezing with winds off the ocean.
I will be posting different photos later this month with more information on this architectural beauty. So stay posted.
