Description

f/10, 1/50, ISO 400, flash, tripod, timer release, natural window light. Submitted under special effects because I used a slow shutter speed to show the movement of the falling cards.

Thanks so much for your very nice comments, Tom, Donald, Sharon, Bill, and Janet! No, this undortunately didn't happen on the first try. I built the houe of cards and then accidentally kowcked it down before I even took the first shot. Then built it two more times because of knock-downs. Then decided to switch from a white bg to a gray one b/c the white looked too unified and I wanted more "instability". THEN about 100 shots (no, I am not exaggerating) to get the timing of dropping the cards right. Was very frustrating after awhile, but I finally got what I was after:-) #1151273

Geez, if only I could type!!! That's what happens when you type with a toddler on your lap! I gotta get better at proofreading before hitting the submit button! LOL! Anyway, hopefully you get the gist of the above statement:-) #1151275
