any comments on this one? any way I could have made it better?Michelle Lea Guinn February 28, 2005
I love it just as it is. No need to change anything. #1138946Amy M. Parish February 28, 2005
I think that the composition is good, a lot of it is concentrated in a diagonal line, which adds interest. The only thing I would like better is if the top edge of the image wasn't so tightly cropped to the tip of the wing. It would be a little more visually comfortable to have some green space above the tip of the wing. Then your eye would just follow the diagonal line of the flower and butterfly, as it is now my eye keeps popping up to the upper edge of that wing tip. If you composed it this way in your camera, and didn't crop it this way, you could still play around with giving it more space by cloning some of the background and adding it to the top of the image. Just a thought. #1140062Melinda F. Schneider January 23, 2008
Hi Maya, it's a beautiful photo. I agree with Amy though about the cropping. I think I'd have included the full flower at the bottom as well...funny because I often like cut-off photos, but here I think I'd like to see the full flower, full butterfly. Just my thoughts...you don't NEED to change a thing! #5380664Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
