Description

When Yankee Stadium was first remodeled in the early 70's, a family friend who was a long time NY Yankee season ticket holder was offered these original stadium seats (the original seats of Yankee Stadium first built in the 1920's). When my husband was a little boy, the friend gave them to him as a gift. Although the lensbaby capture prevents one from seeing the numbers on the seats clearly, they happen to be "3" and "4"...Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig's numbers...just an interesting historical coincidence. Taken with Lensbaby. Desaturated and applied "grunge" overlays.
