Description

Re-enterred for the monthy theme as we away~ Storyline... At the stroke of midnight...ding dong ding dong Teena's Prince turned into a Frog.

Taken in the new light tent I got for our 40th wedding anniversary. The dogs loved it in there, were given treats LOL.

Pat tell us little about your light tent.
I'm not familiar with pro equipment.
How does the tent look?
What do you do with it? #6760232

I love how Teena is saying this TOTALLY under her breath! Such a polite little lady! Maybe she just need to kiss him again? Ha! -Laura :D #6760268

WOW what a wonderful shot Pat... you and Graham must have so much fun working with these amazing dogs... the you guys work together on the photos as well... truely awesome results...

Sherrybear :}

just one question though... I have only seen this rare kind of frog once before... and it was in Canada I believe... Laura Swan was the photographer I think... how did it get to AU??? #6765417

Graham Robards November 17, 2008

LOL Sherrybear, Laura found a contact in China to make repleccas of her frog in plastic. It was the same frog she used in a flower for Candice if I recall.

Anyway to cut a long story short a few of her frogs were imported out here, they didn't sell well and I found one in a second hand store when browsing for suitable subjects for our light tent.

Unbelievable as Laura had autographed the bottom and the frog only cost 50 cents!

Thank you for your kind words Sherrybear but we do owe it all to Laura and her creations! She is now internationally famous. ~Pat #6766406

Laura E. Swan level-classic November 17, 2008

Hi you guys. I was SURE my Candice Frogs would be a big hit in Au, but there you go. I was only sent 25 cents profit. Must have been my "cut" from the one YOU bought second hand, Pat.

Froggie was a big hit with your cute dogie! :) I am so glad for that!

That really was a funny photo for Candice, huh? :) She laughed and laughed. I laughed while shooting it and making it just THINKING about it. Ha! Mission accomplished! :)

I like Christine L.'s saying..."Laugh With Me". What a healing thought!

Thank you so much Sam and Avril! A hoot hey! I had to treat Teena heavily so she took no notice of Candice's frog LOL that had been imported to Australia.

So fun to see this image and thread again Big Sis!

I bet these new comers don't know that Teena eventually became a Frog-Dog.

But THAT is a whole other photo! HA!

Love it! I think I might enter the one of Teena flying through Banff! What do you think? When she had her boots and Tutu on?! :)

Really good to see her and remember her again tonight.

Thank you!

Pat and Graham, this image was certainly worth re-entering for this month's theme contest!! It's a beauty!! Great work...and all the best with it in the judging!! :o) #8621925

Laura E. Swan level-classic May 19, 2010

Shoot. I just looked at it and there are a lot of technicals that are way off on mine. (Teena flying over Banff)...and I dont want to lose the thread y entering a fresh one. (Sigh).

I moved the image to my gallery for fun when people come by. Sadly it's not good enough for the contest.

YOURS SURE ARE HOWEVER!

Shoot, what a shame little sister, that thread was just so good and a great memory of Teena as we did not know she'd die nine months later.

Amazing that. I can accept an old dog passing away but not a young dog. Very sad. Still miss her dreadfully that I just have to keep busy.

Thanks little sister, I saw Teena in your gallery, thankyou. My hurt is only a fraction of what it used to be.

Thanks.
