Description

I created a second layer in Gimp, turned it to b&w, used the bumpmap and retinex effects and then blended with the original image. I also cropped the result and made changes in the overall image balance.

Tiia- I think you have outdone yourself with this one. It is spectacular in the black and white, the lighting, clarity, composition, details. I love how we get to see some of the wall behind each pillar. The horses on top is a fabulous cap for this amazing structure. I also love the people in the picture.
Personally I think this ranks right up there with some of your best work.
