Description

Keeping house seems to be tough work for a spider, always busy repairing! 11/02/08, Nagato, Japan. Can anyone identify this spider? They are all over the place here and I assumed finding its name on the internet would be a breeze, but all I can find are black and yellow garden spiders, not ones with red like this.GR Okay, I think it's a Argiope amoena (Araneidae) [Japanese name : kogane-gumo] Thanks Carolyn!
