Description

Little Abbey had taken a swipe at her sister moments before this tender moment. In an attempt to say "I'm sorry," she nestled into Karlie's arms... giving me one of the most loving images I have ever taken.

I do apologize, Kelley. I meant to write the particulars in the description...

Natural window light was used and I edited it in Mystical Tint Tone and Color by adding what is called the antique filter. I cropped it a tad and used Gaussian blur on the background. That's it! Oh, and automatic settings on my camera. There was just no time to do it any other way. :o)

Thank you, Bill! You know I have taken many, many photos of my granddaughters...this one almost makes me cry! I hope others see, as I do, the tenderness, and love shared by two sisters, in this very special moment.

I know how confusing Photoshop can be, especially when you are first learning to use it. If you send me an email, I will explain how I did it for you with screen shots. I always thought it much easier to learn by seeing than just through words.

Alicia,

All I did was choose the lasso tool to outline the background. I then clicked on filter and blur...chose Gaussian blur and adjusted it to the degree I wanted.
